What's New at the Museum

January 2005
Two new display aircraft have finally arrived! President Stu and "Bat Cave
Dave" drove a large rental truck up to Wisconsin, procured and secured the
planes, and hauled them back! More info on these planes soon.
January 2002
Construction is now completed on our new hangar, and it's full of great
old planes! Come visit us and see why we're so proud!
October 2000
Our newest donation comes from Frank Liberti of Locust Grove,
Virginia. The Wittman Tailwind was built by Frank from a design by Steve
Wittman, an innovator in aircraft design who invented, among other things,
the spring steel landing gear that Cessna purchased from him and used on
thousands of their aircraft. This aircraft shows excellent workmanship
and attention to detail, and we are proud to have it in our collection!
October 2000
Construction on our new hangar is going well! The main support I-beams
have been raised into place, and all of the truss work is up and completed.
it's worth a trip to the Museum just to take a look!
